Clarksburg Council # 872 is pleased to announce the reactivation of Columbian Squires Brother
Neri Circle #535.
On Sunday, April 20th, Eleven young men were invested into the Circle at the Clarksburg Council home. This is currently the only Columbian Squires Circle in the State of West Virginia, and represents almost two years of effort by Chief Counselor Brother Joseph Kolodziej, and others in the Clarksburg Council, to bring to fruition. In the attached photo, seated (l-r) are newly invested Squires Christopher Greer, Rick Shroyer, Daniel Shaffer, Mario Franchi, Chris Roop, Julian Pecora. Standing, (l-r) Chief Counselor Joseph Kolodziej, Council #872 Grand Knight Joseph (Babe) Tiano, Squires Robert Greer, Jacob Kolodziej, Michael Cody, Joseph Greer, Phillip Wilson, and Counselor Robert Angotti.
The Tootsie Roll drive to raise funds for the mentally challenged will take place at Wal Mart on the Saturday, October 18th. Sign up sheets will be at the meetings. If you can't make the meetings and would like to participate to please call or e-mail me. Any questions please contact Bob Angotti---Chairman for the drive. raangotti@aol.com---- 641-1425. We will be working in 2 hour shifts.
This year we presented a check to the LOCAL Special Olympics in the amount of $3800, and this came from our Tootsie ROll Drives. I am sure you know someone that is involved in Special Olympics, wouldn't it be nice to say to the that you helped raise that money.
