Membership
Membership as of September 1st is 514 Brother Knights.  Please remember that we are all recruiters and lets build up our council membership.  Supreme Council would like each member to recruit at least 1 new Brother Knight a year.  Recruit a new Knight this Fraternal year and be aware that if you recruit 2 members you will be  a member of  the Supreme Knight VIP club and will receive a certificate signed by Carl Anderson and also receive a pin.  Recruit a new Brother Knight today!

Who are the Knights
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

How to Join
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church. Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus. Angotti, sr - 641-1425 - raangotti@aol.com.     For an application for membership contact Babe or Robert or any member of Knights of Columbus Local 872 or e-mail me Rob Walker.   Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree.

4th Degree
The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies"). Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus. Members of the Fourth Degree meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at Raymon's for dinner at 6:30pm followed with a meeting at approximately 7:00pm.

Member Attendance Drawings
As a way to give those who attend the meetings a chance to win some big bucks.  This, along with the 50/50 drawing, is just another reason for you to attend the meetings.
